Gyeongbok Palace

When Dad was here in October we went to this palace in Seoul. Because it's the biggest tourist draw in the city, a couple of times a day they have a changing of the guard ceremony.
There must have been about 30 or 40 men involved, all dressed in traditional Korean clothing. The ceremony lasted about 15 minutes, and consisted of them walking around and stopping. I didn't really understand the significance of it all, but it was still interesting to watch.

After watching the pros do it, Dad and I decided to try our own uniforms on. It was free. I don't know how those guys wore these things in the summer heat - I was cooking in it in October. Dad definitely looks more imposing.
